Hundreds attended the fifth annual ORT fashion-show brunch, held at Birmingham's Townsend hotel. The event raised the awareness of and funds for ORT, a global not-for-profit promoter of education and training. Tender, one of Birmingham's most cutting-edge boutiques, provided the clothes and accessories for the show, while Todd's Room, also in Birmingham, treated guests to generous gift bags. "270,000 kids worldwide stay in school because of ORT," says Sharon Eisenshtadt, who headed the event with Susan August, Andrea Beavers and Courtney Colton. The event raised more than $60,000.
